Garden knowledge for children between 6 and 12 years and their grandparents in the Botanical Special Garden Wandsbek
Because we humans love blooming gardens and landscapes and like to give colorful bouquets of flowers!
However, this answer still leaves many questions unanswered. For example:
- Why do butterflies, bees and bumblebees fly to the flowers?
- Why aren't all flowers big and colorful?
- How many different petals does a flower have?
- Why don't all flowers smell?
- Why do some flowers close in the evening and others open?
- What happens when the flower wilts?
Obviously, it is not that easy to answer the question.
However, after this children's tour it will no longer be a problem for you!
The tour takes place in the open air of the Wandsbek Botanical Special Garden at Walddörferstraße 273.
Hortus is the Latin word for garden. The offers entitled “Garden Knowledge @hortus” take place as in-person events in the Botanical Special Garden.
