Garden knowledge for children between 6 and 12 years and their grandparents in the Botanical Special Garden Wandsbek
Plant parts such as leaves, fruits, flowers and roots of certain plants are part of our daily diet. They provide vitamins and taste delicious and are healthy. However, there are also plants whose leaves, fruits, flowers and roots are not suitable for snacking because they contain toxic substances. The plant needs these substances to ward off pests.
But how can you tell poisonous plants from non-poisonous ones? Come to this children's tour and learn about some important poisonous plants.
The tour takes place in the open air of the Wandsbek Botanical Special Garden at Walddörferstraße 273.
Hortus is the Latin word for garden. The offers entitled “Garden Knowledge @hortus” take place as in-person events in the Botanical Special Garden.
