Under the theme “Making Diversity Visible,” Fusion Box – Japan Bolivia invites you on a unique cultural journey! Music, art, and culinary delights from Japan and Bolivia blend into an unforgettable experience. Free entry:

3:30 PM – Workshop: Try out traditional Japanese and Bolivian instruments

4:30 PM – Workshop: Dance to the rhythms of Japan and Bolivia

6:00 PM – Concert: Wayra JaponAndes – Fusion music from Japan and Bolivia, including a special surprise for anime fans!

Musical Highlight: Wayra JaponAndes

The highlight of the event is the concert by the group Wayra JaponAndes, made up of four Japanese musicians living in Bolivia. They weave Japanese melodies with the vibrant rhythms of Bolivia to create a one-of-a-kind sound fusion. Anime fans can look forward to special musical surprises. A dance group will accompany the concert, bringing the music to life visually.

Workshops: Experience Instruments & Dance

Music lovers can get hands-on with rare instruments like the charango from Bolivia and the shamisen from Japan in a dedicated instrument workshop. A dance workshop will also introduce participants to traditional movements, encouraging everyone to join in during the concert. No registration is needed.

Art and Cuisine: A Feast for the Senses

Alongside the musical program, an art exhibition will showcase pieces inspired by Japanese and Bolivian cultures. Art enthusiasts will have the chance to purchase these unique works. Fusion street food will offer guests a special mix of Japanese and Bolivian flavors.
