The museum documents the life and work of the poet and dramatist "Friedrich Hebbel" born in Wesselburen and is considered one of the most beautiful poetry houses in Germany.

Follow the traces of a poet's life: Ten historical rooms with documents, pictures, furniture and household objects illustrate the changing life conditions of the great and, to this day, inspiring poet of the 19th century.

Everyone who wants to learn a lot about life in the 19th century, is not just interested in literature.
Regular guided tours take place on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 2.30 pm. Registration is not required.

More individual guided tours on request.
