Grand opera today, pop tomorrow, early music yesterday, tango the day after tomorrow. Fatma Said is a phenomenon: she floats effortlessly across genres with her radiant soprano voice, sings in five languages and slips into the most diverse roles like no other. Music is her home. On her award-winning debut album »El Nour«, she already succeeded in combining the genres with a classical opera orchestra and traditional Arabic instruments: »Music has no nationality, no religion, no skin colour. It is perfect for everyone.« With this hopeful message, but above all with an all-embracing stage presence, the Egyptian soprano and Berliner-by-choice is making a triumphal procession through opera houses and concert halls. After her brilliant debut with ProArte’s »Great Voices« series in spring 2023, she returns this season with a very personal programme of arias.
