DJ Workshop for FLINTA*
- Other
The two-part »Vinyl & CDJ« DJ workshop allows participants to learn the basic techniques of DJing. The focus is on trying things out for yourself – from buying material and selecting music to technical skills, software and tricks when mixing vinyl. There will also be a chance to discuss questions about the challenges, daily routines and other specific aspects of the DJ trade.
The workshop will take place on 18 and 19 January. Registration is possible until 5 January.
The workshop is led by the internationally successful DJs Ena Lind and Resom. Ena Lind, who also works as a coach, has been sharing her knowledge through DJ workshops in Berlin and around the world since 2010. In 2018 she also established the DJ workspace Spoon. Resom also has an international reputation as a DJ and has been a resident artist in clubs such as ://about blank and Paloma in Berlin, and in Hamburg’s Golden Pudel Club.
The workshop is being organised in cooperation with Spoon. Spoon is a DJ workspace for women, trans and non-binary people, offering a space to learn the art of vinyl DJing in a judgement-free atmosphere, and to exchange ideas and develop as artists.
