Die Hirschbrunft erleben - mit allen Sinnen Hören, Sehen, Schmecken
- Excursions & Hikes
The Südheide Nature Park is one of the richest regions in Lower Saxony with wildlife. At the end of September we experience a special spectacle: the deer then get into position and the piercing roar of the weighty gentlemen echoes through the forests.
There are two packs of deer near the small heath village of Dalle. Their deep calls can often be heard all night long, which with a bit of luck we can not only hear but also observe.
With this impressive sound in your ear, the experienced nature guide takes you on a fascinating journey through the wildlife of the southern Lüneburg Heath. After the hike, homemade mulled wine or apple punch will warm you up. In addition, gripping stories are told around the crackling fire.
And the culinary aspect should not be neglected either. In the Alte Försterei from 1813, your host will treat you to a regional dinner with heather potatoes from Ash and deer meat from regional hunting as well as other exciting reports about life and nature in the Südheide Nature Park. You can book this eventful evening right here.
And important to know: After an eventful and cozy evening, you can also spend the night at the TraumzeitHof in the Alte Försterei!
