The robber Hotzenplotz has stolen Grandma's coffee grinder. Reason enough for Kasperl and Seppel to decide to put an end to the man with the seven knives.

However, this is not so easy: they find the robbers' cave, but are captured. While Seppel has to clean up the mess in the robbers' cave at Hotzenplotz's, Kasperl is sold to the magician Petrosilius Zwackelmann.

The future of the two would look bleak if it weren't for the fairy godmother and Sergeant Dimpfelmoser...
