The fantastic world of the hobbits and elves of JRR Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" is once again touring as a concert with a symphonic orchestra and choir, and a two-hour evening performance brings the fabled double trilogy to life in a unique musical event - the menacing sounds of Mordor and the shrill assault of the Black Riders right up to the beautiful lyrical melodies of the Elves - almost 100 performers will turn the concert hall into a musical scene of Middle-earth.

Howard Shore, who composed the music for the film trilogy "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Little Hobbit", received an Oscar for this, as his leitmotifs, like Richard Wagner's "Ring des Nibelungen", literally make the audience feel when the ring unfolds its power and corrupts the wearer of all power: a parable that fits well into today's age.
