Bienenroboter in der Stadtbücherei
- Other
On Saturday, March 1, 2025, the "Maker Saturday" series of events will start its fourth year in the Ahrensburg City Library. The aim is to introduce children to programming and robotics in a playful way. Dr. Barbara Kranz-Zwerger from the Cave of Wonders will present Bee-Bots and Blue-Bots from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. But of course, the children can try things out and play for themselves.
The Bee-Bots are small robots that look like bees and can be guided through obstacle courses or to a specific destination by pressing the programming buttons on their backs. Spatial thinking and mathematical understanding are trained in a playful way. The Blue-Bot is the extension that can also be controlled via a control panel. The simple planning of paths and movement sequences already corresponds to the algorithmic logic of programming.
The free offer is aimed at children aged 6 and over. Registration is not required. If there is a large crowd, there may be waiting times.
