Besuch des historischen Freudenthal-Zimmers
- Art Exhibitions
Every third Monday of the month, the Freudenthal Room in the Old Town Hall, Poststrasse 12 in Soltau, is open from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The room's furniture is partly owned by the descendants of the writer Friedrich Freudenthal (1849-1929), who was mayor of Soltau from 1884 to 1887. Dedicated volunteers are waiting for you and are happy to show you the room and give you a little insight into the life and work of the brothers Friedrich and August Freudenthal and to talk about literature and history (not only) of our region. The annual "Binnebbom" with interesting and entertaining articles from and about the region can also be purchased, as can the other publications of the Freudenthal Society. The Freudenthal Room is wheelchair accessible through the side entrance of the Old Town Hall. Admission is free.
