The M-Project by Hamburg guitarist Bernard Fichtner thrilled the audience at the last Jazz Night in Glückstadt in 2024. It can be classified as "Contemporary Jazz". The music is very expressive and has a sentimental, brittle beauty that never makes you think of any genre greats. The sound consists of many ostinato motifs, garnished with sparingly used spherical sounds. This creates a warm and lyrical sound that is reminiscent of the European soundscapes of the style-defining ECM label. The quartet is completed by Markus Horn - piano, Giorgi Kiknadze - bass and Heinz Lichius - drums. Look forward to an extraordinary musical experience in the Great Hall of the Glücksknoten.
