The Warsaw-born musician Balbina has established herself as one of the most exciting artists in the German music scene. Often referred to as the »German Björk«, she skilfully breaks through genre boundaries and creates a unique symbiosis of words, images and sound.


Since her debut in 2014 with the EP »Nichtstun« and the album »Über das Grübeln«, she has undergone an impressive artistic development. Her big breakthrough came in 2017 with the album »Fragen über Fragen«, and in 2018 she was honoured with the German Music Writer Award for »Best Lyricist«.

Balbina set another milestone with her album »Punkt.«, released in 2020. Here, she ventured into English-language music for the first time and presented the album in the sold-out Elbphilharmonie, accompanied by the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg.

Her current single »Das Gefühl ist tot.« gives a foretaste of her upcoming album »Infinity Tunes«. In this work, she reflects on digital apathy and the fleeting nature of the moment: »We often live as if we were immortal, we plan years in advance and don't even realise how beautiful the sunset is right now.’«

Balbina's concerts promise more than just music – they are holistic art performances with a new stage design, special costumes and orchestral accompaniment. With her philosophy of overcoming boundaries and celebrating art in its purest form, Balbina remains one of the most exciting voices in German pop.
