Anny Hwang / Klavierabend
- Classical Music
With »AnnyTime StoryTime«, the internationally acclaimed pianist Anny Hwang invites the audience to a captivating musical storytelling experience. Each work in her programme unfolds its own story – sometimes full of passion, sometimes with gentle poetry, always imbued with depth and expressiveness. Ballads already existed in literature, but Chopin set himself the task of realising them in classical music. To celebrate this kind of narrative, the programme opens with Chopin’s lyrical Ballade No. 2, followed by Beethoven’s dramatic Appassionata Sonata, which is one of the most impressive works of piano literature in terms of its intensity.
