Singing Christmas carols in the Kulturkirche Altona
with the Singing Sues & Suely Lauar
Almost everyone sings - whether in the shower, while driving or cheering on their sports team. Some more, some less, but everyone feels it: singing frees the body and soul, is proven to make you happy and is even more fun when you're with others! In December, this is especially true for Christmas carols. Well, let's get started!
This year, a colorful and well-known mix of songs will be sung. Whether German, American-swing, traditional or rock/pop: the result is an evening for the whole family to join in with popular songs such as "Alle Jahre wieder", "Rudolph", "Silent Night", "Let it snow" and many more.
It doesn't matter whether you "can" do it or not. Whether you're 5 or 65, a child or a kid, a "professional" or a part-time night owl, with full fervor or a little shy: everyone can sing along because the lyrics are on a large screen above the stage and the melodies are familiar. If not, Suely Lauar, a very experienced choir director and pianist, and her "Singing Sues" on stage support those who are unsure with the melody and all of this results in lots of goosebumps, happiness hormones and a Christmas atmosphere.
