Akku Quintet

The Akku Quintet is the long-term project of Swiss drummer Manuel Pasquinelli. The band, which won the Bern Music Prize in 2020, celebrates the joy of repetition with great enthusiasm, stretching space and time in unagitated movements. Following their live album released in 2022, the quintet is now presenting its fifth studio album »Kinema«. The five musicians play pulsating, driving minimal jazz with rock and spherical elements. The band describes their music as a »dive into unfathomable depths«.
Please note: For organisational reasons, the concert has been relocated to Studio E of the Laeiszhalle.
