The best entertainment around top international golf: In 2024, the season of top golf tournaments in Germany will once again start at the Green Eagle Golf Courses near Hamburg. The traditional tournament on the DP World Tour will celebrate its 41st edition on the challenging course from 30 May to 2 June 2024. Since its premiere in 1978, the European Open has become one of the most prestigious events on the tour. After a break between 2010 and 2014, the elite of professional golf have been competing at the European Open since 2015. The likes of Bernhard Langer, Colin Montgomery, Retief Goosen, Sir Nick Faldo, Sandy Lyle, Paul Casey and Ian Woosnam have already added their names to the list of winners. Next year, up-and-comer Tom McKibbin from Northern Ireland will be looking to defend his title.
