During the HAFENGEBURTSTAG HAMBURG, the colourful harbour mile along the banks of the Elbe River provides a real festival atmosphere.
The stage acts
Musicians from all over the world play free concerts on more than ten stages. From Shantys and Schlager to Rock and Pop to Heavy Metal there is something for everyone. Around 350 exhibitors and booths make the Bunte Hafenmeile of the HAMBURGER HAFENGEBURTSTAG the central hub of the celebrations on the Elbe and provide a festive atmosphere for everyone.

Along the harbour promenade, around 350 showmen and exhibition stand operators offer many delicious products from all over the world. From the classic fish roll to the exotic pasta dish, almost everything is represented here. For the little snack in between, there is delicious ice cream, crépes and much more.
Fun for the whole family
A family-friendly programme of colourful rides and small play areas in front of the Michel, under the banner "A Journey of Discovery around the World", will make the hearts of young visitors leap for joy. There will also be special activities for families with children. With this year's Open Ship activities on many traditional and museum ships as well as participating ships of the navy, water police, sail training ships, etc., there is something for every little sea bear to discover. Impressive stunts at the live water-skiing demonstration right in front of the Landungsbrücken will make the hearts of many youngsters beat faster. In addition, many museums offer interesting and family-friendly activities and guided tours about shipping and the port for young and old.
