Off into the magic ball: Hit musical makers Martin Lingnau and Heiko Wohlgemuth are now travelling back to their own youth. Here Rick Astley meets Gitte, Roxette meets Matthias Reim and the Spice Girls meet the Backstreet Boys, although the first boy band (the one with the three letters) actually comes from Norway - they are of course there too. The aerobics wave is sweeping over from the USA and getting us "enormously in shape" too. BRAVO is still paid for in D-Marks, cable TV is serving up new favourite shows such as "The Price is Right" and "Family Duel" - and juicy fruits on "Tutti Frutti". We are obsessed with the Rubik's Cube, play Nintendo and finally "Snake" when, thank God, someone finally invents the mobile phone. There is acid rain and the Cold War, against which people sing “Ein bisschen Frieden” (A Little Peace), until David Hasselhoff himself finally tears down the German-German wall.
