Hamburg celebrates the Beatles
The Beatles from Liverpool thrilled their fans like no other band and sold out concerts all over the world. However, they laid the foundation of their success in Hamburg. After their first concerts at the Indra and the Kaiserkeller on the Grosse Freiheit in the 1960s, their career took off. They took the world's biggest stages by storm and became the most successful band in music history. Even today, they inspire a large number of people, which is why anniversaries and members' birthdays are celebrated in a big fashion.

Right in Hamburg: where the Beatles' story began. On 25 February, the former Beatles guitarist would have turned 80. On 9 April, there was a big celebration at the Fabrik in Hamburg.
