Hamburg Tourismus GmbH (HHT) is a successful public-private partnership. Our aim is to be a service provider, initiator and networking partner for the tourism industry in Hamburg and beyond.
Since its beginnings in 1989, Hamburg Tourismus GmbH (HHT) has continuously adapted to altering conditions and market changes. Initially, the company was formed under the name of “Tourismus-Zentrale Hamburg GmbH” as a result of the merger between Hamburg-Information GmbH and “Fremdenverkehrszentrale Hamburg e.V.” in 1989. The company was renamed “Hamburg Tourismus GmbH” in 2002. Michael Otremba has been managing director of HHT since 1 May 2016.
