Can I choose the price category of the seats in the Elbphilharmonie myself?

It is not possible to select the price category of the tickets for the Elbphilharmonie, as the concert organiser only offers them in one price category. Please refer to the service description for the price category available in the travel package.

 

Why can't I choose my own seats in the Elbphilharmonie?

We purchase allotments from the concert organiser in the price category offered for the concerts and have no influence on the corresponding seat allocation. You have the possibility to obtain information about the seats from our customer service by telephone on +49 (0) 40 300 51 701 or via our contact form.

 

Which hotels can I book in the travel package?

We have put together a selection of up to 100 partner hotels for you, which you can book independently to suit your requirements, subject to availability. All our hotel offers include breakfast and the Hamburg CARD for free travel on public transport.

 

When will I receive my travel documents?

Once the contract has been concluded, you will receive a booking confirmation from us with all the information about your booking and our payment details. Once you have paid the full amount for your trip, you will receive your travel documents by post, including the tickets for your concert at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg.

Can I visit the Plaza with my concert ticket?

Concert tickets for the Great Hall and the Small Hall entitle the holder to visit the Plaza from two hours before the start of the event. Visitors to the Kaistudios also need a Plaza ticket to be able to visit the Plaza.

 

How are the admission times organised?

For events without an introduction, admission times are as follows:
Foyers Great Hall: 60 minutes before the start of the event
Great Hall: 30 minutes before the start of the event

For events with an introduction, admission times are as follows
Foyers Great Hall: 90 minutes before the start of the event
Great Hall: 15 minutes before the start of the introduction

If an introduction is offered for this event, this is noted above under PROGRAMME.

Is there a wardrobe?

The wardrobes are located on the 11th floor (wardrobe fee: € 2). Jackets and handbags may be taken into the hall.

Umbrellas, bags from size DIN A3 (42 cm × 30 cm) as well as luggage and other bulky items must be stored in the lockers (maximum dimensions 27 x 87 x 47 cm) in the corridor to the right of the large escalator on the ground floor / entrance area.

Pushchairs can be left with the admission staff on the Plaza. Walking frames can be left at the hall entrances and remain close to the guest.

Are photos and film recordings permitted?

Filming and photography is prohibited in the concert hall during the concert. Photography and filming for private purposes is permitted on the plaza and in the foyers, as well as before and after events in the auditorium, as long as the privacy of other visitors and the smooth running of operations are respected. Employees may not be photographed.

The recording of events on audio or video media is not permitted.

Film or photo recordings for editorial or commercial purposes must be authorised in advance by the Elbphilharmonie press office.

Is the Elbphilharmonie barrier-free?

All halls are also accessible for people with disabilities. Further information can be found at www.elbphilharmonie.de/barrierefreiheit.

There are lifts to the Plaza in the corridor to the right of the escalator. Once on the Plaza, you will find the lifts leading to the foyer of the Great Hall and the Small Hall directly to your right. Please note that the cloakrooms for the Great Hall are only located on the 11th floor. From there, further lifts lead to the upper floors.
