Hotel Ambassador Hamburg is centrally and conveniently located at the Elbe Bridges and just off the A1 autobahn in the eastern Hamburg district Hammerbrook, close to the building Berliner Bogen, known for its prominent architecture. The city center, i.e. Jungfernstieg, City Hall, and the Alster Lake, is just minutes away by car, the underground and rapid transit train station Berliner Tor is close to the hotel. The airport is a convenient, 20-minute ride on the S1 rapid transit train.
The three-star superior hotel has 119 rooms, for smokers and non-smokers, all equipped with full or shower bathroom, cable television, telephone and WLAN. Guests are welcome to use the pool area – a 15-meter pool, sauna, gym and infrared sauna – free of charge.
The hotel restaurant “Focus” serves hot food nonstop from 12 noon until 10 p.m. In addition to the large breakfast buffet served Mondays through Fridays the hotel restaurant also offers a luncheon buffet. Evening meals are à la carte. The evening gathering point is the “LUX Bar” for exotic cocktails and drinks. Seven variable meeting and conference rooms can accommodate up to 130 guests. Fifty paid parking spaces are available, 25 of which are in the underground garage.
