Hotel Cap Polonio is conveniently located to the northwest of the Hamburg municipal area in Pinneberg on a side street near the Fahlt, a 30-hectare beech grove with a large population of mature trees and a rose garden in the center of Pinneberg. Both are inviting prospects for a walk or stroll. The commute to Hamburg Central Station from the nearby Pinneberg station is about 40 minutes.
The privately-operated, 3-star hotel has over 48 rooms, all equipped with shower bathrooms, hair dryer, radio, television with satellite reception, telephone and high-speed Internet access. In the 1930s the hotel restaurant and banquet room were appointed with part of the original furnishings from the Hamburg-Süd liner SS CAP POLONIO, hence conveying the charm and atmosphere of a historic luxury liner today.
A buffet breakfast is served at the hotel restaurant “Rolin” which features German and international cuisine in the evenings. During the summer months the garden terrace is also open. Five conference rooms accommodate up to 500 guests for meetings, banquets or events. Free parking is available for hotel guests.
