The Design Hotel East is situated on a street parallel to Reeperbahn and represents a sophisticated addition to St. Pauli with its Asian ambiance. Guests are close to the bustling entertainment district with musicals, theaters and nightlife in walking distance, but still have the possibility to retire. A few hundred meters down from the hotel is the underground train station St. Pauli. From here guests can commute easily and quickly to downtown Hamburg.
The 4-star hotel has over 172 rooms on three floors, equipped with a rain shower or a bathtub for two, laptop safe, free Sky television, Internet access, minibar and in-room tablet. All the rooms have open bathrooms.
The “Restaurant EAST” serves international European and Asian cuisine and offers a lovely view of the courtyard of this historic industrial complex. The Design Hotel East also has two lounges and a hotel bar, “Yakshis Bar.” Use of the “Body & Soul Wellness Area” including sauna, rest area and rooftop terrace, is included in the room rate. For an additional charge, guests may use the “east Sporting Club” gym and sauna facilities.
