The Cordes Hotel & Restaurant is located in the idyllic hilly landscape of Rosengarten, a community not far from the A261 autobahn, and as quiet as it is convenient. In addition to the sprawling countryside the nearby nature reserve Schwarze Berge and the Freilichtmuseum am Kiekeberg (open-air museum) are worthwhile outings, and Hamburg is no more than a 30-minute drive by autobahn.
The 3-star hotel, under family management for generations, has 369 rooms, all with shower or full bathrooms, telephone, radio, flat screen television and hair dryer. Free wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel and there is sufficient parking.
The restaurant at the Cordes Hotel & Restaurant serves regional specialties, hearty German cuisine and game specialties with home-brewed beer completing the culinary selection. Food and beverages are also served in the beer and coffee garden in the summer.
