The night is still young - The best tips for the way home
The best tips for night trips home: You should have been to these places before the night ends.
1.Be the popstar you always wanted to be
In the Thai Oase!
Belly up to the microphone in the Thai Oase. The Thai Oase is an institution among karaoke bars. Late in the evening it is always shoulder-on-shoulder full. Everyone can try out their vocal chords here: from bellowers to professionals, you can hear anything. And bellow... - we mean singing - along is expressly allowed.

Only in Hamburg!
The Finnish fast food chain has three subsidiaries in Hamburg. The westernmost of these is on Hans-Albers-Platz. After dancing the night away, picking up a burger here is for many Hamburg natives the order of the day.

3.Stroll through the Old Elbe Tunnel to the other side of the Elbe...
...and enjoy the most beautiful view of Hamburg's skyline.
Strolling far below the Elbe - a nostalgic yet classic way to spend some time. And it's definitely a worthwhile excursion at night. Going for a walk here is a very special experience. And after 426.5 metres, you'll have one of the best views of the Hamburg skyline.

The earliest Harbour round-trip in Hamburg. With the HVV ferry at an unbeatable ÖPNV price!
From the Landungsbrücken, Bridge 3, with the 62 to Finkenwerder. At quarter to six, the harbour ferry starts off to the Elbe beaches. If you get out at Oevelgönne (Neumühlen), there's nothing standing between you and a morning walk along the shores of the Elbe.

Sunrise on the Altona Balkon. Wonderful!
In Hamburg, there are many balconies – but hardly any of them has as spectacular a view as the Altona Balkon, certainly the largest in Hamburg. It's definitely worth a stop, not only in the early morning hours when you can watch the hustle and bustle in the container harbour at sunrise as well as enjoy the view of the Köhlbrandbrücke. At other times of the day, you can also enjoy the Hamburg panorama from 27 metres over the Elbe.

For the best snapshots, use the photo-automats at night!
You may not believe it, but after dancing the night away, anyone heading home in the direction of Feldstraße will wonder about the long queues in front of the photo-automats, especially on the weekend. Is something being given out for free? No, this Hamburg sight is now totally in – and anyone who wants one of these coveted black-and-white strips for all eternity should simply queue up.

Turn the clock back and indulge in reminiscences of unknown people!
Furniture, junk, kitsch and art from days of yore are available every Saturday in Hamburg's flea markets. Here, you'll find well-kept as well as not-so-well-kept items and treasures (such as tableware, bicycles, vinyl records, clothing, living accessories). If you manage to get up at the crack of dawn, you'll have the best chance of finding a rare antiquity to take home. The Flohschanze, for example, is held every Saturday (also in winter) from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Additional flea markets can be found here: Vintage Market Kampnagel, Otto-Parkplatz in Barenfeld (Flohmarkt, 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.), Bahrenfelder Trabrennbahn (Flohdom, 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.), Horner Rennbahn (Flohdom, 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.), Kulturflohmarkt am Museum der Arbeit.

Whether night owls or early risers - with a sumptuous breakfast the day can only be good.
Start the day with a hearty hamburger fish roll? There is hardly anything better! Surrounded by the numerous colourful stalls, the desire to shop rushes into the sky. Whether fruit basket, homemade pasta, potted plants or fresh fish - one thing is for sure, everyone will find something to take home. If the fish sandwich in the morning is not enough for you, you can enjoy a sumptuous brunch to jazz, country or western music in the fish auction hall.
For a hearty breakfast, try any of these: Altes Mädchen, Café May, Erika's Eck, Fischmarkt, Hüftgold, Zuckermonarchie.
