Experience the diversity of vegan cuisine!
Vegan meals don't taste good? Vegans only eat raw vegetables? Nonsense! No matter whether you are already convinced of vegan nutrition, slowly approach vegan life or simply look for an alternative to the always same meat dishes - let Hamburg's vegan restaurants convince you how delicious food without animal products can be, and that being vegan in no way means sacrifice.
1.Falafelstern
Orient to go: According to experienced night owls, the Falafelstern in Hamburg offers the best falafel in the city - generously portioned, seasoned with various sauces and relishes, always aromatic and fresh. The range of appetizers includes classic Arabic Mezze such as hummus, eggplant or walnut puree, but also refined salads such as taboulé or vegan potato salad with refined herbs and spices. The central main course is of course the falafel: handmade and deep-fried chickpea balls in flat bread, enriched with raw vegetables and sesame sauce. All vegetarian dishes can be ordered as vegan variations.

Vincent Vegan is probably already well-known to many vegans, and its vegan burgers from the Foodtruck a beloved meal. Those who have never had the pleasure of trying it: it's time! The menu is reminiscent of a classic takeout stand - there are French fries, burgers and curry sausage, but the latter two dishes are only available in a vegan version. The French fries are also offered in two variations: Besides the classic potato fries there are also those made from sweet potatoes. And instead of mincemeat patties, tasty vegan fried foods are served. Of course there is also vegan egg-free mayonnaise.
A visit proves that all of this is not only equally good, but can taste much better than the original version: Here you can feast on excellent food - the burgers are ample and juicy, the fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The delicious snacks can be washed down with selected lemonades.

In 1976, the vegetarian-vegan restaurant Tassajara was established in Hamburg-Eppendorf and has been enchanting its customers with veggie specialties and artistic compositions ever since. Virtually all dishes can be ordered vegan or in vegan variations. How about, for example, a seitan grill steak with lightly steamed broccoli and a raw vegetable side dish? Or the Tassajara pan with colorful vegetables in orange-miso sauce with baked potato? The icing on the cake is the dessert selection: who wouldn't enhoy warm poppy seed cake on orange-ginger cream with sorbet?
