The zoo is a particularly good place to observe the annual spring awakening. The bustle of spring is a particularly exciting time at Hagenbeck Zoo. For many animals, the spring months mean a change of wardrobe: off with the winter fur or plumage and on with the blaze of color. With the warmer days, many animals move back into the outdoor enclosure and if you are lucky, there are even cute animal offspring.
Our tip: During the vacations, children can become polar explorers, animal keepers or marine researchers. Cool experiments, exciting stories and animal observations await the little ones.
