The Schanzenkino Open Air will take place this year from 05 August to 03 September 2023. Then again a film will be shown daily in the Schanzenpark. The open air in the cinema is a real oldie in Hamburg, already for 23 years the open air takes place in the summer. You can watch the film on the cinema's seating or reclining chairs or spread out your own blanket on the lawn. If you want to be especially comfortable, you can book the guest lounge, where there is an XXL couch that offers space for groups of up to ten people.

The film program changes daily and the sound transmission works easily via wireless headphones, which you can borrow at no extra charge when you show your online ticket.

Good to know for dog owners: Your four-legged friends are welcome on a leash.
