Barrier-free dining with a view
The Hard Rock Café Hamburg serves cocktails and what is said to be the best burger in town with a beautiful view of the harbour at Hamburg's Landungsbrücken. A little further on, you can dine on fresh North Sea fish such as plaice, halibut or green herring in the quaint ambience of the Fischerhaus, also directly on the Elbe. Both restaurants are wheelchair-accessible and equipped with disabled toilets.

In HafenCity, regional and seasonal dishes, mainly with certified organic food, are on the menu at the barrier-free Hobenköök. In the Hobenköök's market hall you can also buy many products as souvenirs to take home. Fair-trade coffee, wine and chocolate are offered by the Weltcafé ElbFaire in the neighbourhood. If you are out and about in Barmbek, you can take a wheelchair to the barrier-free T.R.U.D.E. In this imposing and historic industrial monument, sustainable and regional dishes are also on the menu.

In many wheelchair accessible hotels in Hamburg, you can also enjoy delicious dining. Numerous restaurants in the accommodations are open to everyone, not just hotel guests. In the middle of Speicherstadt, cantinetta in the AMERON Hotel Hamburg Speicherstadt serves creative Italian cuisine with a unique view of Brooksfleet. Wine lovers, for example, get their money's worth in Restaurant 1700 at the Barceló Hamburg design hotel. Mediterranean dishes are also served. At the Grand Elysée Hamburg, two restaurants are barrier-free, the Brasserie Flum and the Steakhouse THEOs.
